Freeport, Fla–Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies have apprehended Ramon Shaw.
Shaw was wanted on seven active warrants following an incident on December 22nd involving the discovery of nearly 30 grams of methamphetamine in a vehicle he was driving. On January 17th Shaw was featured in WCSO’s Turn ‘Em In Tuesday social media campaign.
Late Sunday evening Shaw was discovered hiding out in a house on Pinelog Street in Freeport. He attempted to escape the home, but deputies were able to detain him safely.
He was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail following his arrest. He is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance among other misdemeanor charges.

Santa Rosa Beach, Fla— Raymond Shaw, 35, has now racked up seven charges in Walton County after fleeing from Walton County Deputies in Santa Rosa Beach Thursday.
Shaw told deputies his house was off of Marlin Court and deputies followed him to that location to allow him to locate his ID. While at the residence deputies asked to search his vehicle. Shaw gave consent and after further investigation deputies were able to locate nearly 30 grams of methamphetamine, several ammo shells, and other prescription drugs. During the search, Shaw fled from deputies.Deputies were called to a suspicious persons call this morning near Forest Park Drive after a resident said there was someone parked in their driveway they did not recognize. Deputies made contact with the person, later identified as Raymond Shaw, who had no identification on him.
Walton County Sheriff’s Office K9’s were called to the location, but were unable to locate Shaw. He now has seven outstanding warrants out of Walton County including:
