Double Homicide Suspect from North Carolina Arrested In Gulf Breeze For Trespassing

Gulf Breeze, FL – A double murder suspect who was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender in North Carolina is now behind bars in the Santa Rosa County Jail awaiting extradition.

On Monday, November 21, 2016, at approximately 5 PM, a Deputy with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office was flagged down by a citizen advising of an individual who was trespassing on a commercial property in the area of Hwy 98 and Nature’s Way in Gulf Breeze.

The Deputy made contact with an individual who was sitting near some bushes behind the property. The individual was extremely nervous when asked for his identification. Identification was produced which identified him as Paul Eugene Snow. When checked, SRSO dispatched advised Snow had an active warrant out of North Carolina for failure to register as a sex offender and was known to be armed and extremely dangerous. Snow was handcuffed without incident.

While in route to the jail, dispatch was advised Snow was a suspect in a double homicide in North Carolina.

Snow is being held at the Santa Rosa County jail without bond.
