Decent Turnout For Town Hall Meeting on Transportation in North Okaloosa County (with audio)

About 75 people came out for a Town Hall meeting at Warriors Hall in Crestview Thursday night to hear the status of a bypass on the Southwest side of Crestview.

The meeting was organized by Okaloosa County Commissioners Nathan Boyles and Graham Fountain. Also participating were Crestview Mayor David Cadle, Council President J B Whitten, Okaloosa County Public Works Director Jason Autrey, Crestview Public Services Director Wayne Steele, Crestview City Clerk Betsy Roy, Kay Godwin for the Okaloosa County Administrator’s Office and laurel Hill Councilman Scott Moneypenny who is also President of the Okaloosa County League of Cities.

Crestview Council Members Joe Blocker and Bill Cox were among the member of the audience.

The following audio is of Okaloosa County Public Works Director Jason Autrey as he explained the status of the Crestview Southwest Bypass.

The meeting lasted close to two and a half hours with several members of the audience asking questions and some offering ideas for a bypass on the east side of the city.
