A Convicted Felon in Pensacola is Now Behind Bars and Authorities Seized Cash, Drugs and A Firearm

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Pensacola man for possession marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On 10/27/16, members of the ECSO special investigations unit along with the ECSO SWAT team served a search warrant at the home of Tennis Standless Woods, located at the 7700 block of Aaron Drive. The investigation into Woods began earlier this month after investigators received information that Woods was selling marijuana from his home.

Located during the search were several bags of marijuana, a firearm, and more than $9,000 in cash. The marijuana that was seized was not only packaged for sale, but also appeared to be different strains with varying THC levels.

Woods is a six time convicted felon with a history of felony narcotics charges.

This investigation is part of the ECSO’s continued effort to battle drug dealing and drug related crimes in neighborhoods known to be plagued with drugs and violence.
