A Cantonment man that was arrested in July of 2016 for video voyeurism charges was sentenced to prison and probation after release after law enforcement found child porn and multiple videos at his home.
State Attorney Bill Eddins announced that on April 12, 2017, Christopher Dreyer pled no contest to the charges of two counts of Video Voyeurism, Battery, and five counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
Christopher Dreyer was sentenced today by Circuit Judge Jan Shackelford to 24 months in State Prison to be followed by 24 months Community control, followed by 6 years of Probation. Judge Shackelford also designated Dreyer as a sexual offender and he will be required to register as such.
In July 2016, Christopher Dreyer was arrested for placing a video camera under the skirt of the victim and touching her leg while shopping at Target. Escambia County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant for the video camera and for Mr. Dreyer’s residence. A search of the video camera revealed additional victims of video voyeurism.
